Go to the Northbound I-81 Welcome Center in Bristol, Virginia. As you pull into the rest area for cars you will count four parking places. Park here. Look for the sign that notes "State Highway Patrol only Parking". To the right of the sign is awater fountain. Walk between the water fountain and the sign. Go to the 6th white post on the left. Behind the bush at the 6th post is the South Carolina Letterbox.
